It was further found that meaning arises both in perception and in conversation with others. In relation to the communication of meaning, it was found that when meaning is communicated, it is only possible to create a second-order-understanding of the meaning shared. And that conversation and metaphors were identified as possible ways of creating this second-order-understanding, because both of these are able to capture feelings, moral practices, and tacit understanding, which are very hard to communicate.
